MeteoWeather API — Public Offer
Version of 25.08.2026. These are the standard terms of the MeteoWeather API subscription agreement; they are concluded by acceptance as described below.
Subject. MeteoWeather (the “Provider”) grants the Customer a non-exclusive licence to access the API at /api/v1/ and use the data in the Customer’s own products within the selected plan (see /api/, an integral part of this offer).
Acceptance. Obtaining a Demo key, paying an invoice for a paid plan, or the first API call with a key constitutes full acceptance.
Plans, limits, payment. Plans, daily call limits, rate limits and method availability are published at /api/. Paid plans are prepaid for 30 or 365 days. Overage is billed at the published rate or limited with HTTP 429 until 00:00 UTC. Usage counted by the Provider (/api/v1/usage) is the basis for settlement.
Customer obligations. Keep the key confidential; do not circumvent limits; do not resell raw data as a stand-alone product; attribute “MeteoWeather” (mandatory for Demo and Start plans).
Availability. Target monthly availability: 99.0% (Start/Business), 99.5% (Pro), 99.9% (Enterprise, separate contract). Sole remedy for shortfall attributable to the Provider: pro-rata extension of the paid period.
Liability. Data are provided “as is”; forecasts are not guarantees. The Provider is not liable for decisions made on the basis of the data or for lost profit. Aggregate liability is capped at the amount paid for the last billing period, except in cases of wilful misconduct. Force majeure includes discontinuation or change of source data by DWD, WMO or NOAA.
Personal data. E-mail, project name, IP address and call logs are processed to perform the contract in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Term and changes. The Provider may amend the offer with 10 days’ notice on the Site; the version in force at the time of payment applies to the paid period. The Customer may terminate at any time; unused full months are refunded on request. Disputes are first addressed to the Provider in writing (10 business days to respond) and, failing amicable settlement, resolved in accordance with the applicable law and the courts at the Provider’s registered seat, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules of the Customer’s country provide otherwise.
